Is College Worth the Money? by Jim Wolfston.
Here’s an excerpt from a reader’s comment to this article:
“For years, Americans have been told that a college degree is the key to an interesting and well-paying job. Everyone followed this idea. Now, having an oversupply of graduates and most of those industry jobs gone overseas, the degree certificates are as much worth as a high-school diploma 30 years ago, and today’s graduates are left with working at Wal Mart or Target for low pay to laboriously pay back their massive debt. This vicious circle is only to get more intensive as time will pass.”
